Baked Hake

It was time to bring a fish recipe and the one that I bring you today is super easy and quite fast. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did preparing it.

Hello everyone, today we will prepare a great baked hake.

Ingredients

1 whole hake (or your favorite fish)

1 and 1/2 cups of fish broth

1 glass of white wine

2 bay leaves

3 Tomatoes

1 red bell pepper

2 onions

3 potatoes washed and peeled

3 garlic cloves

Preparation

Start by cutting the potatoes and tomatoes into thick slices, julienne the onion and the pepper into large wedges.

Clean the fish by removing scales and cut the fins.

Now start to fry the potatoes a little to create a golden crust and then sauté the onion, pepper, garlic and tomatoes for two or three minutes. You can add half a teaspoon of smoked paprika for color and flavor.

On a baking sheet, form a bed with the potatoes and vegetables. Place the hake on them and add the fish stock and white wine. Salt and pepper to taste on all sides and don't forget the inside of the fish. Place the bay leaves and take to the preheated oven at 180ºC for 15 minutes for each kilo of fish. In our case it is a hake weighing 2 kilos, for which we will leave it in the oven for 30 minutes.

After time, withdraw, serve and enjoy.

As we always say:

If your plate doesn't look like our image, don't worry! We spent over 40 minutes trying to find the perfect angle for the photo.

If you don't have one of the ingredients on the list or you don't like something, feel free to use another ingredient. This recipe is only a guide, and you can adapt it to your tastes. So don't stop making it, you will be surprised how fast and delicious it is!

If you are a lover of spiciness, add as much chili sauce as you dare.
