Bechamel sauce, for beginners
This sauce is so delicious that it makes my children eat their vegetables without any problem.
Hello everyone, today we will prepare a super easy bechamel sauce.
1.5 liters of milk
5 tablespoons of flour
2 butter spoons
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
This recipe is designed to make approximately 1.5 liters of bechamel sauce, but if you want to make more or less sauce, multiply or divide the amounts and everything will be fine.
The first step will be to melt the butter in a pot over medium heat with a splash of oil, then add the flour, mix and "cook" for 1 to 2 minutes. Then gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the lumps disappear.
Do not add more milk if the lumps have not disappeared. When the sauce thickens, add more milk and continue until you have achieved the amount of bechamel you want to make.
Add salt to taste and nutmeg. Mix well and add pepper. Let stand a little and your bechamel sauce is ready.
