Grilled trout

I usually buy salmon or tuna to eat grilled, but on our last visit to Costco, I found a super trout fillet that was screaming at me to grill it.

Hello everyone, today we are preparing an exquisite grilled trout with honey butter, tartar sauce and some great chips.

Ingredients

Trout fillet

2 tablespoons of honey

1 stick of butter, melted

salt and pepper

Tartar sauce:

1 cup of mayonnaise

2 tablespoons capers

3 pickles

2 hard-boiled eggs

1 small onion or half normal onion

Preparation

Start salt by peppering the trout on both sides and let it rest for 1 hour to allow the salt to enter the meat.

Meanwhile we will prepare a super easy tartar sauce. So start by cutting the onion, pickles, capers and hard-boiled eggs into very small squares. Mix everything very well and if you want add a little of the pickle liquid. Reservation.

To accompany this beautiful trout, we are going to prepare a very simple fries in butter, so cut 20 or 30 previously cooked potatoes in half and place them in a pan with a good piece of butter, a little oregano and salt. Remove them from the heat once they are golden brown.

Now yes, the trout. Fish is usually done very quickly, so follow the following rule: for every kilo of fish you need 10 or 12 minutes in the oven. In this way the fish will come out well done without being dry.

In this case we are going to do it on the grill, however we will use the lid to create the oven environment. Mix the butter with the honey and paint the fish with it every 4 minutes.

After 12 minutes, remove the fish from the heat and serve it with the wonderful tartare sauce and the butter fries.

As we always say:
