"Rotten" Stuffed Eggs, Halloween

These funny eggs are the ideal starter for your Halloween party .. They are unappetizing to look at because they pretend to be rotten, however their flavor will make you unable to stop eating them!

Hello everyone, today we bring a plate to share with all your guests this Halloween.

Ingredients

7 eggs

Sesame oil (optional)

Food coloring * (black, brown or purple)

Filling:

3 to 5 drops Green food coloring *

1 medium avocado

1 tablespoon mustard

2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

* Gel or paste colorants are more intense. To dye the eggs, you can use black, brown or purple food coloring, we made one batch of eggs with brown food coloring, and for the other we mixed blue and red food coloring to make them purple.

This recipe is designed for a tray with 16 half eggs, so if you want to make more or less, don't worry, multiply or divide the amounts and everything will be fine.

Preparation

Put your eggs in a pot with enough water and let them cook for 9 minutes or until they are hard.

Then let them cool a little and with the help of a spoon, break the shell of the eggs without completely breaking. make sure to break all the skin so that they are well dyed.

Put them carefully in a ziploc bag and add enough food coloring to cover the eggs well, add a dash of sesame oil for aroma and a little water to make the ink run easier. Put them in the refrigerator for 5 to 10 minutes.

Take out the eggs, peel them and rinse them a bit to remove excess food coloring. Cut them in half and remove the yolks.

In a separate bowl, place all the egg yolks and add the avocado, mustard and mayonnaise. Grind everything very well and use green food coloring in a controlled way, add drop by drop until you reach the shade of green you want. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Fill a bag and pastry bag with the yolk mixture and fill the eggs one by one.

We decorated with drops of red food coloring that simulated blood, but you can use black sesame seeds or whatever you want.

It is time to serve, enjoy with your friends and family this Halloween.
