The delicious flavor of these wings, and especially the success of their color, depend on leaving them marinating overnight. so don't forget to start this recipe the day before Halloween.

* The marinade in this recipe is so delicious that you can use it whenever you want without adding the black food coloring.

Ingredients

Raven wings

1.2 kilos of whole chicken wings (this will give them a spookier appearance)

3/4 cup of pineapple juice

1/4 cup of ketchup or tomato sauce

2 tablespoons Worcestershire or Lea & Perrins sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon black gel food coloring

1/2 cup bbq sauce

1/4 teaspoon black gel food coloring

Sauce

1 generous tablespoon of plain yogurt

3 generous tablespoons mayonnaise

a splash of mustard (1/2 teaspoon)

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

a little chopped dill

some blue cheese

This recipe is designed for 3 people (15 wings approximately), so if you want to make more or less quantity, multiply or divide the quantities and everything will be fine.

Preparation

Start by preparing the marinade in which the wings will rest the night before. For this, in a bowl mix pineapple juice, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, ketchup and black coloring. Put everything in a ziploc bag with all the wings and move them until they are completely covered. Leave them in the fridge overnight, or at least 6 hours.

The next day, take them out of the bag, let the excess liquid drain and place them on an oven rack as stretched out as possible, this to make them look bigger. Add salt and pepper to taste on both sides and put them in a preheated oven at 200ºC for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile prepare the barbecue with which you will bathe the wings to add flavor and accentuate the black color. Take a cup of bbq and mix it with 1/4 teaspoon of black food coloring. Blend well until the sauce is completely black and reserve it for later.

We peel and cut some colored carrots into fingers to accompany and give freshness to this dish.

Now we are going to prepare a spectacular blue cheese and yogurt sauce to accompany these wings, so mix yogurt, mayonnaise, a splash of mustard, garlic powder, a little or a lot of blue cheese, add a little finely chopped dill and stir everything very well.

After 30 minutes, take the wings out of the oven and brush them on both sides with the black bbq sauce that you prepared a while ago. and put them back in the oven, this time for only 5 minutes.

That's it, take them out of the oven and put them hot on a tray with the delicious white sauce.. Your guests will be impressed with this spectacular recipe.
